Pine Bush Equine
On December 20, 2005 Annie had an accident which resulted in a severe fracture of her right front P2. The injury left her with a poor prognosis but she was such a special mare that her owner, Genevieve, could not give up on her. Dr Mike Ross, from the New Bolton Center, performed surgery on her here at Pine Bush Euine and placed transfixation pins and a cast. Annie had a number of follow-up surgeries for cast changes and repairs to broken pins. She spent five months in a cast and has seen great progress over the past few years. She is now enjoying turnout and had even enjoyed rides with her owner. She is truly a miracle and a testament to an owner's love and dedication as well as to the wonders of advanced veterinary treatment.
