We are excited to have Laura join the Pine Bush team as a veterinary extern. Laura is originally from Colombia and earned her veterinary degree from the Institucion Universitaria Vision de las Americas. After completing a 10-month externship with our hospital in 2024-25, she is thrilled to continue her professional journey in a place that already feels like home. Dr. Velez is eager to keep learning, grow her clinical knowledge, and build strong career skills while working alongside the other supportive and collaborative PBE doctors.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time hiking and recharging with a good movie. Her curiosity, dedication, and thoughtful approach make her a wonderful addition to our practice.
